Early Bird

This is a real-time speed game.  There is no turn taking in this chaotic fun!  All players play at the same time. 

Players do their best impression of a worm.  The player who does the best worm impression gets to flip the first card from the draw pile to start play.  They reveal the top card, place it next to the draw pile (which starts the discard pile), and shout "UP!" to announce the direction of play.

Note: If the card flipped is a challenge card, put that card back into the draw pile and flip the next card to begin play.  The game can only begin on a number card.

Then, in a race to get rid of their card, players get rid of their cards as fast as they can.
